I’ve been giving a lot of thought to the direction this blog is taking. While I still love all things fabulous, this blog doesn’t seem to be about “fabulous” so much as it’s just talking about things I love, which in turn MAKES them fabulous. (Don’t worry, those things still include shoes! Give me Louboutins or give me death!) I want to share the things I love with YOU in a spirit of friendship and fun.
The things I love almost more importantly include food. I ADORE food!!! Especially tacos. I love writing about food. I love talking about food. I love cooking and eating and serving food! I’d say I’m a foodie, but mostly I’m stuck in the food industry. My credits include:
- Le Pain Quotidien: Barista/Server/Certified Trainer
- The City Bakery: Assistant Floor Manager
- Marix Tex Mex Playa: Manager
- Border Grill Truck: General Manager
- Consultant to several other Los Angeles food trucks
I’m also a nester. I love finding the right things to go with the other right things that are in my home. I love the color pink, and florals, and lace, and I would call my design style a very feminine shabby chic. My apartment is my first and it’s slowly evolving into a beautiful space. I dream all the time of owning my own home.
The point is, being fabulous isn’t just about the latest designer styles, or even the most trendy restaurants. It’s about loving yourself and the life you live. It’s about friendships and fun. You will see my friends and boyfriend featured often in my posts. I think a hot pink Manolo Blahnik shoe is totally fabulous! I AM a hot pink Manolo Blahink shoe; I am living to be absolutely fabulous, and I hope you are living just as fabulously.
